My Parents used to own a 75 room, 3 Star Hotel Resort at Clermont Ferrand in France.
"L`HOTEL FRANTEL", 1 * Michelin.

While I was doing my studies of Marketing in Lyon from 1980 to 1984
I was assisting my elder sisters, covering every department at running our parents property.

I subscribed to a membership in 1984 at the American Management Association
(www.amanet.org ).

I did attend at over 35 seminars in 7 subject areas.
Management, Finances, Human Resources, Online Marketing,
Designing, Computing and Networks.


[COLOR=blue]MY WAY OF MANAGEMENT


On a daily average, I am on duty from 7 am till 10 pm. I dedicate…

50 % of my time in public relation.
To get to know customers`feedback.
(Yield Management up to 15 % occupancy)

25 % of my time in human resources.
In order to reach very high standards of service and quality,
I set up an incentive plan based on results with a rated training program for the executive staff.
50 % to 60 % of the staff is hired as polyvalent employees.

25 % of my time in cost control.
I do keep a tight Cost control daily, with a daily sum up summary.
It is the only way to track the variable charges.
In order to have the fixed charges as low as possible,
those, should be planned at the very beginning of any project.

A 40% Fixed Cost Planning will result in a highly profitable ROA. (30 to 40 % ROA)
